Oscar’s Win for Sabre

In July, Oscar took part in his first BJJ competition after just 3 months of training. Oscar’s first match was an exciting one! After his opponent executed a solid hip throw and took side control at the start of the match, it looked like Oscar was in trouble.

However, he showed resilience and technical skill - replacing guard, attempting a triangle and using this to sweep his opponent and take mount. Oscar dominated the rest of the match for a convincing victory.

Oscar didn’t reach the podium in this first tournament, but he has his first competition and his first win under his belt. Well done, Oscar!
