Matt makes it 2 for 2 at Grapple Worlds 2

On 28/3/26, Matt took a last minute call up to Grapple Worlds 2. This was essentially a lightweight vs middleweight match with Matt at 75kg and his opponent at 83kg.

The Grapple Worlds event, held at the Kassam Stadium, Oxford, was even better than last year. The raised stage made the grappling even more spectacular. The professional filming and the entertaining commentary made this such an exciting show for Matt to take part in.

On top of this, Matt’s match was, again, the headline match of the first half of the show. It’s an honour to get this slot, especially when the card is packed with some of the best grapplers from the UK and beyond.

Matt secured the submission after approximately 3 minutes, using one of his go-to submissions: the Howdy Choke.
