GOTM June ‘25 - Os

Grappler of the Month for June 25 has to be Os!

Os came to us as a complete beginner in grappling, but he has picked up a lot of learning very quickly. This is undoubtedly due to his excellent attitude to learning and his persistence and commitment. Os is one of the students with the highest attendance at Sabre - and as a result I can see his grappling knowledge growing. On top of this, Os asks great questions and responds really well to feedback.

Os is a brilliant student and training partner and everyone loves drilling and sparring with him in lessons. He comes with a friendly and humble attitude, and he is always smiling and enjoying himself on the mats: exactly as it should be!

In sparring, Os is formidable! He is certainly a very strong and imposing guy and he uses these attributes judiciously and effectively in sparring. What’s more impressive, of course, is they way he applies what he has learnt - and he does this very well indeed.

Os - we love having you at Sabre. Keep up the good work.
